Andy has written and published two books for the creative teacher and the creative student and delivers talks and training to support tutors, teachers and students. He uses his extensive experience within creative education to inspire others and promote the importance of creative arts education. Andy explores the the values and ethos he has developed and applied throughout his career and the various ways they can be adopted and applied in the development and delivery of creative arts education.

In this book Andy looks at the multifaceted aspects of teaching and learning, emphasising the significance of student-centred approaches. It explores the idea of teachers as creative artists, drawing parallels between the techniques used in creative fields and the strategies that can be applied in education.

In this book Andy developed over time and working with other creative educators, and it hopefully will help define and support students in the academic foundations needed to successfully progress academically.

Andy has also written and published academic papers and blogs on music, acoustic ecology, music education and composition, and delivered seminars and lectures to aspiring musicians and contemporaries within the music and creative arts industry at various events including The London Library, Westminster Conferences, Music and Drama Expo and many more. He has also delivered talks, seminars and training internationally, most recently in India. 

Andy has also worked with the Royal Ballet & Opera National Schools Programme and supported the delivery and ideas for teachers in the combining the Design Challenge into vocational creative subjects and take advantage of the resources available. Andy is an ambassador and champion of Royal Ballet & Opera Design Challenge.
