Andy has released a total of five studio albums, including his first solo instrumental ukulele album, Marked Card, in 2014, a collaborative project with Ray Brown, Sankey Brown - Never to Fade, The Journey and more recently Ukulele Christmas. All his music can be downloaded or streamed from any music platform.
Andy's music has been well-received by audiences and industry professionals alike, with his unique blend of classical, contemporary, and traditional instrumentation and styles earning praise for its exceptional dynamics and refreshing sound. His compositions have been featured on many TV and radio programs, including National Geographic, ITV, and the BBC.
Remastered in 2017, Andy's solo album Marked Card was released in 2014, this collection of original songs returns to the roots of ukulele with a classical feel. He has been performing at various concerts and festival across the UK and internationally.
The Journey is Andy’s second ukulele solo instrumental album and the first time he has recorded some classic songs he has arranged for ukulele. These unique arrangements and original compositions are a mellow journey through some inspirational music and generations in his unique style, interpretation, and performance.
Never to Fade released 2016 is a feel-good country folk collaboration between Andy Sankey and Ray Brown ‘Sankey Brown’, this is their first official release although they have worked together on various music projects in the past.
Music and Sound Volumes One and Two were released in 2019 and are a collection of instrumental compositions covering a diverse range of styles. They highlight some of the compositional work Andy has done for TV, radio and film and are ideal to be used for license free media synchronisation or to just listen and enjoy.
1:59 is a piece of work created over 18 months, it is a combination of un-edited soundscape recordings including bird song, water, and wind with ambient sound. The aim of this work is to capture truly random sounds of nature without any other industrial noise or interference and blending electronic randomly generated sounds to harmonically complement the soundscape.
The track is 1 hour and 59 minutes long, each audio track was recorded independently, the levels of each
track has been balanced to achieve a calm, tranquil sonic experience. There are no post-production effects added or automation of the mix, the sounds are consistent and as they were recorded.
Ukulele Christmas is the second collaboration with Ray Brown. It is an album of original festive songs including the single 'Fallen Angel' and produced by Mark Lawrence. It reflects on Christmas with light and shade with a classical feel, not your traditional or conventional Christmas album, but beautifully original and unique.
